Muchas Manos, EGA and San Diego ANG are co-sponsoring Margaret Bendig’s Drawn Thread Sampler, Desert Dawn on January 23-24, 2016. While stitching this drawn thread sampler you will be reminded of the soft pastel colors of a desert morning. This workshop is an exploration of drawn, with-drawn and interlacing stitches, as well as counted thread stitches, pulled thread stitches and composite needlepoint stitches.
The class sample is stitched on eggshell congress cloth but if so desired, you may choose to work on 28 count linen. The design size is approximately 7” by 9”. The kit includes all threads, ground fabric, ribbon, needles, color picture and stitch guide. Prestitching recommended. Two colorways are available. Ghost stitchers are permitted.
