The EGA offers a number of resources for its members from embroidery-specific libraries to specialized workshops, courses, and seminars.
Each month our chapter has a get-together where we review the status and activities of the chapter. Most months we also have a program. The program can be a lecture, a project, or an introduction to a new technique. Please see our events listing for details about each month’s meeting. Interested to see what we’ve done in the past? Check out our program archives.
- Chapter Library
What to try a new technique, but not ready to invest big bucks to get the books you need? If you are a chapter member, try borrowing from our chapter library instead! Please click here to view our library holdings. This link will direct you to our private Yahoo group for members and you will need to sign in to view the list. .
To arrange to borrow a book, please contact our librarian.
- EGA National Library
Don’t forget that all EGA members also have access to National’s libraries. The reference collection is available at headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. That’s not so convenient for those of us in San Diego; however, they also offer a lending library. This is a large collection of needlework publications available for check-out via mail.
- Chapter Correspondence Courses
We are not currently running a chapter group correspondence course.
