Welcome

Happy New Year!

Is 2026 a year where you are looking to learn something new, to be more creative, or just slow down and enjoy making something by hand? If so, Muchas Manos de San Diego can help. we are a group of hand embroidery enthusiasts.  We get together from 7-9pm on the 3rd Monday of every month (except December when we have our holiday party) for our main meeting.  Please stop by a meeting to say hello and meet us. What happens at the main meeting?  You can:

  • meet other folks making stuff with needle and thread
  • get help with your project
  • ooh and aah over other people’s creations
  • show off your own creations
  • plus, enjoy some dessert

We also get together for social stitching — it helps create time for stitching in our busy lives if you can put something in your calendar. We have 5 online chat and stitch sessions each month. When we can book free meeting space at a library we add some in-person chat and stitch events as well. Our upcoming events page has exact dates, times, and locations.

Any questions?  Want to contact someone before you stop by?  Email us.

2026 is our 50th Anniversary Year

We’d love to celebrate with you!
