Carolyn Standing Webb’s Diamond Pomegranate
Hosted by Muchas Manos and SDANG
It is understandable why Persephone could not resist this red silk pomegranate that is stitched on gold washed congress cloth. The design features both counted and uncounted stitches to create the glowing red and gold fruit. The threads include stranded silk, Accentuate, several types of gold thread and beads. The stitches include satin stitches, couching, fly stitch, and Algerian eyelet that are used in unique ways to create this eye-catching design.
Design size is 4.5 x 4.5 inches.
